HCM City will be the 124 th global destination for Emirates Airlines. Clark said he believes that the opening this direct flight will strengthen the partnership between the UAE and Vietnam.

The establishment of the new air route is the part of an agreement on bilateral aviation cooperation signed by the two countries in April, 2011.
